Edit Microsoft DHCP config in txt file format

Export current DHCP server config
netsh dhcp server ”\\Server name” scope “scope subnet” dump>c:\temp\dhcp.txt
eg
CMD:- netsh dhcp server ”192.168.0.100” scope “192.168.1.0” dump>c:\temp\dhcp.txt
Make changes
Open txt file located c:\temp\dhcp.txt Make edits and Save
Stop DHCP services
In services manager right click DHCP Server, select stop. Within DHCP manager, right click server/ tasks / stop
Rename DHCP server config files for use as potential backup
Win explorer C:\Windows\System32\DHCP Rename both the "dhcp.pat" and "dhcp.mbd" files to .old
Start services to create empty DHCP config
In services manager right click DHCP Server, select start. Within DHCP manager, right click server/ tasks / start
Import new config
CMD:- netsh exec c:\temp\dhcp.txt
Restart services to create empty DHCP config
In services manager right click DHCP Server, select restart. Within DHCP manager, right click server/ tasks / restart
Double check DHCP Settings in DHCP Admin Manager Tool
